Raypirri was founded by Ctoz Punkker, a Balinese rock vocalist from the punk-rock band Jerkysucks, after relocating to Woy Woy on Darkinjung Country. Immersed in the coastal lifestyle and deeply respectful of Aboriginal culture, Ctoz discovered the Yolngu philosophy of “Raypirri”—a word meaning discipline, strength, respect, and responsibility.

The message hit home. It captured the values he lived by through music, surf, motorcycles, and art.
So Raypirri became more than a brand—it became a daily reminder to stand strong, honour culture, and live with purpose.
